Cadet
Program We have an Cadet Program that allows us to interact with the school district often. We standby for athletic events and utilize the trained cadets at those events. We go to the schools many times per year to teach first aid, CPR, and safety programs. Annually we teach 3rd to 5th grades household safety, farm safety and drug prevention programs. We teach 10th graders first aid and CPR, and "what to do before the ambulance arrives" course. Medic 1 Ambulance EMS Cadets"Exploring provides young men and women with life experiences, skills and opportunities to explore careers and lifetime interests. Explorers will investigate, learn, experience, be challenged, and build desirable qualities of character while making new friends” Our Cadet unit is open to young men and women interested in the medical or emergency services fields. We work with the school district to teach the students CPR and basic first aid. Some of the students go one to First Responder classes, or right into EMT basic classes through the technical colleges. We start a new group of students each school year. Our students must follow academic standards, and may earn credits for community service. We also use the cadets for extra help during community and sports events. For more information, please send an email or call requesting Cadet Information. Contact Us |
