Medic 1 Maintains "Gold Standard"Employee Thank YouOctober 10, 2006 --
On September 25,
2006, Medic1 Ambulance maintained the “Gold Standard” as the Commission on
Accreditation of Ambulance Service met and gave this agency its three-year
re-accreditation. This time however it came as a monumental occasion as we
achieved this with a 100% compliance after the on-site which was August 10th
& 11th ; this 100% came without any further documentation or
submittals to CAAS.
To achieve this goal
is never easy, it will always be a continued work in progress and I thank each
and everyone who helped to make this huge accomplishment happen. So many of you
helped around the stations and with the units to make them guest ready when the
on site reviewers came to Medic 1 Ambulance and also helped this organization in
so many ways, again thanks to you.
For now it is a time
for celebration, and I would hope that everyone is very proud of this agency’s
continued success and its accomplishments. We have already received our new
plaque and certificates from CAAS. I still have lapel pins available for all who
would like to wear them, and the ambulances will continue to proudly display the
CAAS shield on them like a badge of honor.
Again “Thank You”
to each and everyone who helped to make this happen.
Best wishes
Jack Fisher Jr
