Community Education

Medic 1 Ambulance promotes itself by educating the public on how to access its services, when services are needed, and the awareness of risk-associated behaviors, such as recognizing common dangers and injury prevention.

Children comprise the largest target audience, yet the Medic 1 campaigns also involve adults. Having a public, well educated in accessing the services provided by Medic 1, is an important goal of the Medic 1 public education program.

CPR & 1^st Aid Classes

Medic 1 Ambulance provides CPR and 1st Aid classes for interested parties. Classes are held periodically in fire departments and at the Medic 1 Office in Benton Harbor. Arrangements can be made to conduct classes at your facility. For more information please contact the Education Department at (269) 925-2144.
